The tremolo is set to remain flat to the body when not in use. 3 springs ( i did try 5 but it didn't help) The unit seems flush to the body. But any dive bomb action ends up with it pulling way sharp on return to regular position. I'm not sure what to do. WebFeb 24, 2024 · Bit of a mystery to me as the Floyd is locked down , in that only allows for dive bomb movements , and the strings are obv clamped at the nut end,..it really is pretty annoying. Have googled it , and it seems one thread came up from years ago and it was solved by changing the strings, faulty wound strings can be a common thing apparently.

You can still dive bomb, but the D-tuna wont work properly unless its blocked from pulling up or going sharp.. Once again perfectly in tune until I use the whammy a bit, namely some dive bombing. So I did some experimenting. Leave the nut locked and tune with the fine tuners. Dive bomb again and retune.
