WebHow to refer to physiotherapy: The MSK physiotherapy service accepts self-referrals as well as GP referrals. GP referral: Some GP surgeries require you to see your GP before attending physiotherapy. If your doctor feels that you would benefit from physiotherapy, they are able to refer you to our MSK physiotherapy service. WebSpeak with your GP practice reception team to book an appointment with them. If you are aged 18 or over and registered with a GP in mid Essex, and you have a musculoskeletal problem, you can also self-refer to the Provide Physiotherapy Service.
